SPARSHA is a non-profit organization established in 2010 at Mukulishi, Basta, Baleswar, Odisha, with a mission to empower rural and tribal communities. Founded by Mr. Saroj Ku. Pradhan, the organization works in the areas of agriculture, child education, youth development, and women empowerment. Over the years, SPARSHA has expanded its work across Odisha state, 3 districts, 13 blocks, and nearly 3000 villages in Odisha. The organization promotes quality education for children, skill development for youth, and livelihood opportunities for women. It also undertakes health, sanitation, and mother–child welfare programs to improve rural well-being. SPARSHA supports farmers through agricultural training, irrigation initiatives, and environmental conservation activities. The organization creates awareness on social issues such as dowry, addiction, and communicable diseases. It encourages sports, cultural preservation, and national integration among youth. SPARSHA also promotes small-scale industries, self-employment, and capacity-building for rural families. Through its dedicated efforts, the organization continues to uplift marginalized communities and foster sustainable, inclusive development.
